Welcome to Struggletown Vet
Located in the heart of the Eastern Suburbs, opposite the Prince of Wales Hospital, on Barker St. We are a friendly A Class veterinary hospital, open late for your convenience , from 7:30 am until 9pm Monday to Friday. 9am to 5pm on Saturday and 9am to 1pm on Sunday.
We aim to provide all the help you need to make caring for your pet as easy as possible, from Puppy School right through to geriatric pet care. We provide consultations, up to date medicine, surgery, dentistry, X rays, ultrasound, hospitalisation, blood tests, house calls, specialist referral, palliative care and help with international pet export.

Drop off Service
- Stop at the front of the practice 5-10 minutes before your appointment (yellow area in photo)
- Bring your pet to reception, or call our team to pick up your pet.
- We’ll look after your pet while you find a place to park, and while you retrieve your car after your appointment.

Struggletown is open longer hours to be able to provide you with the service you need, whenever you need it.

Monthly staff training
Because the team Struggletown always pride ourselves on giving both the best and most up to date care for your pet, as well as the amazing customer service to go along with this, we will be closing our doors, and turning our phones off for 2 hrs in the middle of the day for staff training/meetings towards the end of each month so that we are able to service our clients in the best possible way. We will of course re-open like normal at the end of this.
